Artist

Kenny Carkeet is a producer and multi-instrumentalist based in Los Angeles, CA.  He currently plays and is a founding member of the Red Bull Records band AWOLNATION.  His first plaque came as a co-producer for the multi-platinum selling hit "Sail" on AWOLNATION's Megalythic Symphony.  "Sail" has sold over 8 million copies worldwide.  

Kenny attended FullSail University in 2004 and moved to Los Angeles shortly after.  There he met producer Jimmy Messer (Kelly Clarkson, Enrique Iglesias) and started engineering for him full-time.  It was there he met Aaron Bruno (AWOLNATION, Under The Influence of Giants, Hometown Hero).  He and Aaron would create 'throwaway' pop songs for new artists until they created "Sail" randomly one day out of boredom.  From there, Aaron would complete the AWOLNATION debut record, and Kenny would help form the live presentation.

Since then Kenny has worked with several producers including John Feldmann, Jimmy Messer, Rick Knowles, Dennis Herring, Jim Kaufman, and Jarvis Anderson.

Kenny's most recent production can heard on new records from 5 Seconds of Summer, The Used, Beartooth, OneOKRock, NeverShoutNever, AWOLNATION, and Hinder.
