Movement section and Controls
The movement control is the main controller in SynFex. It acts like an envelope or if the loop feature is active as an LFO, with each voice having its independent movement.

Movement Modulation Controls
The Movement is a modulation source which can modulate the following default destinations and two optional free destinations.
- Movement to Filter Frequency amount control
- Movement Modulation to Pitch amount
- Movement to Volume amount control
- Movement to Pan amount control with 10 panning modes
- Movement to free Destination 1 and 2, with amount controls
- Key-Track control to Speed
- Velocity-Track control to Speed
- Shape Up and Shape Down controls
- Attack control for additional volume control at the start of the Movement
- Release control for additional volume control at the end of the Movement
Source Controls
SynFeX has several different ways of creating the sound, this can be chosen by using the Source menu.
- Noise Source, with mix controls mixing between Pink Noise to White Noise, and a sinus waveform sub-oscillator
- Tuned Noise Source, with mix controls mixing between Pink Noise to White Noise, semi-tune control, and a sinus waveform sub-oscillator
- Synced Noise Source, with mix controls mixing between Pink Noise to White Noise, semi-tune control, and a sinus waveform sub-oscillator
- Wave Source with analog-modeled oscillator mixes between sinus, saw, square, and triangle waveform, semi-tune control, fine-tune control, symmetry control, feedback, and a sinus waveform sub-oscillator
- Sample Source with built-in samples, option to load samples, granular option, sample start offset, semi-tune and fine-tune control, aa sinus waveform sub-oscillator, and sample editor open/close
Filter Section
The sound generated by the source is passed into the filter section using 32 Filter types, and additionally Ring and Amp Modulation

LFO Section
SynFeX has an LFO that generates modulation signals to be used with two destinations available in its section.
- Waveform types: Triangle Up, Triangle Down, Saw Up, Saw Down, Sine Up, Sine Down, Square Up, Square Down, Sample and Hold.
- Modes: Poly, Free, Mono, and Legato

MAIN Section
In the Main section you can control how SynFeX volume and panning and how it responds to notes played, either polyphonic or monophonic. The portamento is also set here.

Ribbon Controller
Dedicated modulation source with the unique spring back feature. The Ribbon Controller can be used in BiPolar or UniPolar mode.

FX Section
SynFeX has 4 FX units – a Lo-Fi Distortion, a multi-mode Modulation FX, a Stereo Delay, and a Reverb, which can be organized in whichever path you want via the Path menu.

Bank Manager
There are four main sections: Presets, Find, Search Category, and Set Category. For each section, the Banks are visible on the right-hand side.
While in the Preset screen in the Bank Manager, you can mark any Preset with a Star if you like the Preset

SynFeX can use samples in WAV, or AIFF format

Back Screen
