This synth is a really, really complete package - FM, substractive, vecor synthesis, phase distortion, arps, sequencer, FX - it has all of it and more. As if Rob does not want us to use any other VST for the rest of our lives. Months of fun ahead. Sound quality is beyond criticism, but this is (mostly) a digital sounding synth, not one that tries to emulate any analog gear. You will probably love it.

Don't know why I waited so long! I've been busy setting up a new DAW in my studio, and installing a pile of software, so I decided to try a new synth in addition to my old stand-bys. Blue II is just astounding! I see many hours ahead playing with the vast possibilities. Great product!

Finally "One synth to rule them all". That's exactly how I feel about Blue II. First, they "fixed" what I thought was missing from the original Blue (like a proper, custom FM matrix), made it sound significantly better, and there are so many sound design options I literally don't need to open another synth. I have no hesitation in recommending this synth to anyone for any genre of music.

Blue 2 is a revolutionary synth and a wonderful inspiration sparker... you can achieve sounds that would take layering and complex resampling to achieve and a lot you'd never hear before... It has an innovative GUI and a easy to use FM routing Matrix... Capable of Growls, Sweet Plucks, glowing keys and leads... I encourage you to demo it... one of my favorite Releases this year... Rob and Jon did wonderful!

WOW! Blue has always been one of my favourite synths, so I was expecting Blue 2 to be even better. But that's an understatement. I was blown away when I played the "Welcome to Blue II" patch. This is one awesome synth.

If you are a fan of Blue, this update is pretty much a no-brainer. They made an already intuitive interface even better, and added a lot of neat features. My favorites (right now) are: Effects has a dedicated screen, and you can now assign up to four of them. Way cool XY control added (similar to Blade, but also has its own separate screen). Improved Easy Editor (yep, on its own page, too). **** This isn't new, but also have to say that Rob Papen's onboard arpeggiators are the best! Thanks!
